Bangkok Trip (1)
Last weekend, several of us went to bangkok mainly for shopping and eating.
Travelling to Bangkok on Jetstar
We stayed in Baiyoke Suite Hotel which is quite near to many of the shopping areas. Quite convenient to tourists especially like us who were there for shopping. Haha. The hotel was quite clean, much cleaner to what I expected it to be.

The BTS in bangkok. BTS is their public train transport. The environment makes me think of the train I took in KL some time back.
The first day was spend at Chatuchak Weekend Market. Due to the l0ng check-in crowd that was seen earlier in Changi Airport, we hadnt got time to have our breakfast. Finally, we settled our breakfast-cum-lunch at a roadside stall in the market. A plate of fried rice plus drink add up to less than 60baht for a person. We probably couldnt find something cheaper here in Singapore. The food was so-so and taste like “Cai tau kueh” to us.
At the platform, waiting for the BTS to Ratchathewi. Mo Chit to Ratchathewi is only 30Baht.
Forced smile. All were tired from the walk and heat at the market. Ratchathewi is the station to alight to get to our hotel. As it was our first day, we don’t know whichever way is nearer to the hotel and ended up walking quite a distance.
After resting for awhile, we went out in search for dinner which eventually led us to being scammed FOR THE FIRST TIME. Delighted that tuk tuk only cost 10Baht for a to-and-forth trip to a restaurant, we all agreed dumbly and ended up paying 800Baht relunctantly for some not-filling dinner.
After that scam meal, we had our next dinner at this indian restaurant near our hotel. The food was much better and price was reasonable as well.
I ordered a Thai Spicy Fried with a bowl of rice. It’s actually sliced chicken meat complete with the spicy sauce.

1st post of 2010!
11 days since the start of 2010. A new year, to let me bury the past. Let it gone with 2009 alright! Anything that happened during the year is past. Whatever it is.. Be it happy or sad. Memories will stay forever, anything beyond that is uncontrollable.
I am starting to live a new life now! Doing things I have never try before. Counting down towards the end of SIP. 2 more weeks. Countless of assignments to complete. No time to think about anything right now except those crazy deadlines. No more stupid acts. No more unneccasary tears. It sounds so much like June 09 where things hadn’t happen. Leading a 风平浪静 life once again.
So, 2010 resolution will be:
- Able to eat seafood once again (Hopefully when i blogged again next year, I am proud to fulfill this at least?)
- Save money
- Catch up with friends whom I lost touch with last year
- Find new aims to achieve?
SIP sucked. MP is worse. I am going to enjoy my last three days of work slacking. HAHA. Since AB is not around. How often do I get to do this?
Also, I am addicted to 海派甜心. A very very veryyyyy sad and comical drama. Must prepare tissue if you want to watch HOR. Cant wait for the next episode. Xuehai is sooooo handsome haha. D

Two and a half years ago, she was just a baby.
One year ago,
During christmas 2008. ( when she still called me "zhuzhu")
At the sentosa flower 2009 in early feb.
Now.. This is what happen..
This was taken during my birthday.
Two weeks ago.
Today, I realized how much she has grown. From calling zhuzhu to gugu, to the many many words she learn how to say, articulating in mandarin and imitaing advertisments and dances, she is growing up everyday. Today she told me: I don’t like Barney already because barney got baby bop. -.-! Kids…. You used to like baby bop.
Time flies.

2nov – shiqi ordered pizza from pizzahut to celebrate my birthday
8nov, brother surprised me with a durian cake. Thanks bro!
11nov, on the day itself was quite high.I will never forget that moment! Sorry if it hurts haha. Met rb, aqi and nisa at suntec for siam kitchen buffet. It was nice! Lets go again! They made a scrapbook full of our photos. How sweet! then after dinner we went to walk the fountain of wealth. I made a wish, will it come true? (PS. i made the same wish three times this year! will it make it more easy to come true?)
14nov we celebrated at pizzahut marina square with the clique. Thanks for the present! 
After that went to watch paranormal activity. The whole show like no climax until the last few minutes. Scare the hell out of me! I miss those special movie moments that we have ):
Ultimately, you didnt celebrate with me ): I shouldnt be sad at all because I still have all my friends right. that’s bullshit.

and i came to realize, no one are your true friends. trust no one.

Catch up
This post is to follow-up on the previous post : Nov on the lunch thing. Haha. I said hope all ended well. Ya! It ended without starting in the first place afterall. A good or a bad omen?
After work, met w at amk to watch my sister’s keeper. I teared during the show. The show is freaking touching lor. The plots, the emotions, the characters. But I still can hear people stifled in the cinema!? What the hell.. Because of this show, I missed “welcome home, my love”. My yuxuan. Ok those who dunno who’s yuxuan, he is 金沛辰. A very handsome guy! Haha.
The girl so xin fu lor. Omg.
After the movie, walked around amk and we found out that mini toons are having 30%. Haha. As usual la girls.. Then went to northpoint and I bought a damn cute keychain plush! Yay! now I got you to pei me le!

It’s the month of November!
There’s something that happened during work today. Argh!
A patient who has CHICKEN POX came in to buy acyclovir. I see THAT rx, pack THAT med, key THAT med, collect THAT money and talk to THAT person. To make things worse, I nv had chicken pox in my eighteen years and ten months before! F YOU! AND chicken pox is an air borne viral disease. And it took 7-14 days for the infected person to have symptoms. PLEASE LET THIS BE FALSE KK!
THEN JUST NOW I DID SOMETHING VERY PAISEH! ): but its just a meal la! I HOPE All ENDED WELL TMR (:
